Awesome start to duck season 2014! The ducks are down and they worked like the good ole days this weekend in the Mississippi River Delta. Easy limits each morning on a wide variety of species. We set up early and waited for daylight, first came the Greenwing and Bluewing teal. Each hunter bagged a couple to get the day started and then we decided to wait out the big ducks. Great idea as big groups of ducks started to dive bomb into the decoy spread. We ended up with Mallards, Gadwalls, Widgeon and Mottled ducks. Excellent shooting combined with endless opportunity resulted in easy limits. This season could be one for the ages!
