Delacroix Report 6/27/2015

Howling winds out of the west the last few days have made the fishing much tougher out of Delacroix. We hit an outer bay point early to find nice trout in the deep casting out away from the bank. The trout wanted live shrimp Carolina rigged on the bottom. Once the winds picked up, the bite died and we headed back into the interior marsh. The water is super low and getting dirtier by the minute. We hit several spots and picked up black drum, reds and a few more trout. We had one trout on the inside that was pushing 4 lbs. Nice fish! Hopefully the winds will die back and allow the tide to bring in some cleaner water from the outside. Good luck out there this week!
