Delacroix Report – 5/22/2015

Windy conditions in Delacroix today. The water is still dirty and fresh in the outside waters from the high Mississippi River so we stayed inside in protected waters. We found a feeding frenzy of perfect size black drum and put a dozen 18-20″ in the box. We hit a couple of trout holes and got them going pretty good catching 100 to keep 30. They were either obviously too small or obviously keepers. We also caught a few redfish and flounder to round out the box. The hot bait was live shrimp carolina rigged and artificial cocahoes. The fish are still on the inside, so no reason to run way out right now.
